I've always been a little rebellious.
Raised in a deeply spiritual home, I received Shaktipat young, sat in ceremony with Anandamayi Ma's devotees, and served as a children's programming director at a megachurch. My bookshelf overflowed with sacred texts. And still, something didn't feel right.
Eventually, I walked away. Not because I stopped believing, but because I couldn't stomach the performance.
Years later, a deeper call returned. It didn't come from dogma or doctrine, but from the earth herself. That call led me to the jungles and mountains of South America. I sat in ceremony. I listened. I remembered.
I have been called too intense, too direct, too much. I used to think that made me hard to love. Now I know it is the backbone of my medicine.

The Dieta takes place at Samsara, in the Amazon Basin. It is the place Jessa returns to every year for her own training and healing.
